Installing the Proofing Tools in Word 2000 or XP

If you purchased the proofing tools from us in the past, and need to install it on Microsoft Office 2000 or XP, then you may need to download and run a small program before installing the proofing tools. This is a very simple process:

Download runfirst.exe (21 KB).
If your browser offers to let you run the program from its current location, click OK. Otherwise save it in "Desktop," then double-click its icon to run it.
If it reports that a registry change is needed before you can install the Proofing Tools, then click "Yes" to allow the registry change to be made.
